THE STORY
“Goode For Something” focuses on the power of God’s restoring power in the lives of a teenage boy and his stepmom, through the wisdom of world renowned ministry leader, Rev. Rufus DuWright and his crusade members.
Rev. DuWright’s humble beginnings started at All Cross Baptist Church in Gary, Indiana, where he served as Pastor from 2003-2005. Rev. DuWright left All Cross in 2005 to start a very intense and successful ministry; he is the founder and leader of Do Right Crusade Ministries.
The Lord now sends Rev. DuWright back to All Cross in 2012 and he does not understand why. He is obedient and brings a very small portion of his high powered ministry team to Gary as part of a worldwide tour.

“Goode For Something” is a threequel of two past plays, spanning a 10 year period, “The Case of Rev. Isaac DuBeta” in 2002 and “The Holy Place: DuBetas Now DuWright” in 2005. “Goode for Something” seals God’s deal in bringing it all together.
The performance is upbeat, comical and very believable. The singing and dancing will keep you on your feet. The energetic cast will make you laugh and cry. The play carries a message for all ages.
